We've made major improvements to sharing in Marathon.

Share 2.0

We're rolling out a major update to our sharing features!

Starting today, you'll see a new and improved share sheet when you share anything: a show, season, episode, review, list, or member.

- Every shareable item now has a custom share image that you can save and share with others.

- Tap the link icon to copy a direct link to the item.

- You can also tap the Instagram icon (if you have it downloaded) to share the image directly to your story.

- Tapping the Twitter or Threads icon will share a text-only post with a link back to Marathon.

- Want to access the default share sheet? Just press the `...` icon to open!

As Marathon grows, we'll be adding more image variants and share options to the share sheet.

### New & improved

- We've rebuilt our popup sheets from the ground up to be smoother and more performant.

- Screenshotting a page in the app will now pull up a share sheet, if applicable.

- We've renamed "Stopping" to "Abandoning" to better reflect the intent of the action.

- We've added new big `Paused` and `Abandoned` filters to your watchlist and shows pages.

- You can now create a new list in the `Add to list` action on shows, seasons, and episodes.

- You can now rename rewatches from the default, in addition to adding notes.

- Skipping an episode now pops a confirmation sheet to prevent accidental skipping (you can disable this in settings).

- Confirmation sheets have a new design to make them more visually distinct.

- We've added confirmation steps to a number of destructive actions, like deleting a review or removing a show.

- Some toasts now include a checkmark to make success states more clear.

- The History page now uses more clear headers, like Today and Yesterday.

- The Upcoming page now includes episodes from paused shows so you can always see what's next.

### Fixes

- We fixed a nasty bug where commenting would sometimes freeze up the app.

- Letterboxd, Twitter, and Threads usernames can now handle periods (e.g. `josh.pensky`).

- We've added close and back buttons to all sheets to make them easier to dismiss.

- Fixed a bug on the feed where buttons would require two taps to activate when the keyboard was open.

- Fixed a visual regression where the checkmark would animate out when the checkbox was unchecked.
